Magnetic energy store transfer

Magnetic energy is a form potential energy store of a magnetic field - magnetic potential energy i.e. it is based on the interaction of magnetic fields.

With magnetic energy you are dealing with the repulsion of like poles and the attraction of unlike poles:

(N <=> N or S <=> S) and the attraction of unlike poles (N =><= S).

  Magnetic energy stores in action.

Work is being done as the magnetic poles repel or attract.

Any attraction or repulsion movement of magnetic poles involves a force acting through a distance, so work is done and energy must be transferred.

Work is done when a magnet picks up an object like a piece of iron.

The interaction of magnetic fields with the flow of an electric current or production of magnetic fields by means of an electric current have many applications, and all involve energy transfers conversions involving magnetic fields.
